Burmese National Apprehended From Hut Bay

Port Blair, Nov. 2: On 29/10/2009, T. Kannan a fisherman of Hut Bay informed SHO/Hut Bay that while he was fishing near Burmila Creek, Little Andaman, he noticed some Burmese national roaming near the creek. Immediately SHO Hut Bay. S.I. A.K. Singh along with IRBN Personnel visited the spot to apprehend the poachers. The police party after making strenuous efforts apprehended one Burmese national on 31/10/2009. Further follow up action is being taken to locate the remaining poachers.
