Port Blair, Jan 25: The State Level National Talent Examination (NTSE) was conducted on Nov 7, 2009 in these islands for the students presently studying in class VIII. In the examination, 11 students have become successful and qualified by NCERT, New Delhi to appear for the Second Tier National level examination scheduled on May 9, 2010. 
 
The selected candidates are Aniket Saha, VKV, Serena K. Bharathkar, JNV, Panchawati, Rahul Gope, VKV, Ankush Kishore, VKV, Mohammed Waseem, SSS Carmel, A. Vidhesh Rao, NCS, Arisha Salam, NCS, Ritam Mallick, KV-1, Sneha Saram Varghese, SSS Carmel, Nivedita Negi, NCS and Lawrance, GSS Bengali, Teressa.
