Port Blair, Jan 25: A meeting will be convened on 28th January 2010 at 3.30 p.m. in the Conference Hall of Directorate of IP&T under the Chairmanship of Secretary (Tsm.) to discuss about the implementation of ‘Guest Information Software’ developed by A & N Police as a step towards enhancing the security of these islands. The software is devised to enable every hotel/resort/ in management to get a photograph of every guest stored alongwith relevant particulars. Senior officers from police department will brief about the significance and consequence of the ‘Guest Information Software’. All the Hoteliers/Hotel Associations and stakeholders are requested to make it convenient to attend the meeting on the above said date and time.
