‘Wice Wicks’ released by Chairperson PBMC PDF Print E-mail

Port Blair, Feb. 25: Shri S. Jayakumran Nair, Chairman, Municipal Council, Port Blair has released a book in his chamber titled “WISE WICKS” written by Dr. Alexander Joseph, a resident of Bathubasthi, Port Blair on 25th February 2010 at 1200 Noon in the presence of Shri K.N. Suresh, State Vice President, BJP, Port Blair; Shri C.M., Karunanidhi, Councillor Ward No. 10 and Chairperson, Sub-Committee (Education & Social Justice); and Shri Raja Marudhavanan, Councillor, Ward No. 12. The first copy of the book was handed over to Shri K.N. Suresh.
 
In his brief address, the Chairman PBMC emphasized the need of bringing out such books for the benefit of the common man. He also urged that during this electronic age, making reading habit is inevitable and everybody should spare sometime for reading also, in addition to spare in time for TV watching and other activities. 
 
The Chairman PBMC while congratulating the author said that one should start the practice of writing also even if one is engaged in discharging the regular duties of oneself. He has also congratulated the author of taking pain and hardship in bringing out book of this kind and wished him success and a good reading to the readers.
