Port Blair, March 7: An association for the welfare of the Christian community of the islands in the name of ‘Island Christian Association’ has been formed by few like minded Christian youth of the islands. The first meeting of the association was held today at No. 12, Daya Sagar Building, Brichgunj Chowk, Prothrapur, South Andaman. In the meeting it was decided to invite the Christian community of all the churches to join the association. Further it was decided that the association will be a non-profit making organization, which will dedicate itself to support the Christians in need.
