Port Blair, March 8: It is notified for the information of 482 Tsunami affected farmers, agricultural labourers and fishermen of South Andaman who had been granted Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) facility till February, 2010 that the A&N Administration has extended the facility of Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) upto May, 2010.

The 482 Tsunami affected families are directed to produce their ration card in the Directorate of Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs for extension accordingly. The benefit shall not include those families who are covered under the free ration supply.

The fair price shop owners with whom these 482 FICs are registered are also directed to lift the foodgrains from their respective supply godowns and issue the same to these Tsunami affected families upto May, 2010.
