Bishnu Demands Immediate Action Against Manager Govt. Press PDF Print E-mail

Port Blair, Feb. 8: The Member of Parliament, Shri Bishnu Pada Ray has demanded immediate action against the Manager of Govt. Press, Shri V.K. Mishra for misbehaving with a lady employee. Fourteen days have passed since the matter was brought to the notice of the Lt. Governor. In reply the Secretary to the LG intimated that the concerned department has been directed to initiate necessary action but there seems to be no move, Bishnu said in a communication to the press.

In this regard the Govt. Press Employees Union and the children of the victim has approached me and wanted to know whether the MP would be taking up the issue, Bishnu said. Sitting over the issue for two weeks reflects on the functioning of the A&N Administration. Still if no action is initiated, the consequences will disturbing, the MP adds.
